Emily Cohen, MSW, LICSW
Emily Cohen, MSW, LICSW, is a graduate of Boston College School for Social Work with a clinical focus on children, youth, and adults. In addition to experience working with clients with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma, Emily also has a special interest in the areas of developmental disabilities, transition to adulthood, pregnancy and postpartum mental health, and cultural/gender/sexual identity. Emily has worked in more intensive outreach settings supporting children and families, as well as in outpatient settings, both at a community health clinic and in private practice. Using a strengths-based, client-centered approach, Emily works with young children, adolescents, and adults in an array of configurations, from individual to family and couples. She has CANS and Trauma Focused-CBT training. She also completed a certificate for the use of CBT for Perinatal Emotional Complications offered by Strong Roots Counseling.
