Kat Frumin, MSW, LICSW
Kat was graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelors degree in film studies and then completed a Masters in Social Work at Bridgewater State University. Her creativity and interest in people has been apparent from her undergraduate days in film. Kat has worked in an array of settings with adolescents, young adults, families, and adults from college counseling and intensive residential setting to hospital based work and private practice.
Kat has a client-centered, strengths-based approach in her work with clients. It is her goal to empower clients to explore and learn from the challenges they face, and to grow from these experiences. All her work is collaborative, always working toward your identified goals. She is trained in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and utilizes motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused techniques in her work.
