Kaitlyn Tabinsky, MA, LMHC

Kaitlyn Tabinsky, MA, LMHC, (she/her/hers), graduated from University of Buffalo with a Bachelors in Psychology and Boston College with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Kaitlyn has worked in intensive and outpatient centers, including the OCD treatment program at McLean Hospital in both individual and group approaches. Kaitlyn joined the Strong Roots Counseling staff in 2024. In addition to her specific OCD training, she also completed a certificate for the use of CBT for perinatal emotional complications at Strong Roots Counseling.
Kaitlyn’s clinical areas of interest include: depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, identity, grief and LGBTQIA+. She uses a range of treatment approaches to help clients meet their goals, including: acceptance and commitment therapy, exposure and response prevention, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and motivational approaches.
