Katrin Margolin, MSW, LICSW
Katrin Margolin, MSW, LICSW, PMH-C, (she/her/hers), was graduated from Boston University with a Master of Social Work in 2020 and completed the necessary training for a perinatal mental health certificate (PMH-C). Katrin also completed a certificate for the use of CBT for perinatal emotional complications. With a broad and eclectic toolbox to draw from, Katrin is committed to working together with individuals and couples seeking support in dealing with a range of presenting challenges. While Katrin specializes in perinatal mental health, she has also had substantial experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, as well as grief and other topics that bring people to therapy. The approach that she employs is best described as person-centered with special emphasis on strength-based perspective and cultural humility. Katrin is well-versed in CBT, exposure therapy, narrative therapy, and Solutions Focused among other therapeutic approaches. This enables her to meet any client where they are at and with what will help them specifically rather than a “one size fits all” approach.
